Krista Komondor is an actor, comedian, and writer who creates original, character-driven comedy for stage and screen. Her work blends stand-up, clowning, and improvisation into long-form storytelling built around original personas.

Her Season 18 America’s Got Talent audition earned a standing ovation from Howie Mandel, who compared her to Andy Kaufman. Clips of her performance went viral with over 100 million views. She returned in Season 19 with a new character: a blonde magician whose only trick was being herself.

Krista’s solo shows have appeared at 59E59 Theaters, Edinburgh Fringe, and SoHo Playhouse. She is a graduate of École Philippe Gaulier and a former Nurse Practitioner.

She is currently developing an original mockumentary-style comedy project, Sunny Chatum’s American Dream, as both a live show and feature film.
